Aerial Yoga is the art of letting go and the freedom of movement. It’s letting gravity take your practice to a deeper level. It is both safe and exciting. Your core strength will be tested as you work to balance and stabilize yourself on the silk. In addition, you will flex your mental agility as you keep alert while suspended in the air as you move your body into new and sometimes unfamiliar positions.
At Mojo Yoga we have a wide variety of classes for all skill levels.
Aerial Allay (Restore & Lengthen) with Robin
This aerial class aims to calm your nervous system and allay your fears and alarms. Poses will be slow, intentional and deepening while quieting the posture with our breath. Prepare to stretch, hold, lengthen and balance to a soothing soundtrack.
Welcome to your hour of quiet. A time to simply sit and be on your mat. A portion of the meditation will be a guided exploration of one or more of your chakras (energy centers throughout the body) and bringing expansion and awareness to these areas. Beginners and advanced practitioners welcome. Blankets, bolsters and blocks provided for your comfort.
Simply restorative. Take a mental break from your everyday life. This is your time to recover from fatigue, recoup your spent energy and still your mind through a series of restful poses. Now close your eyes and relax.
Silk Sanctuary with Sound Bath
Levitate. Float. Retreat. Welcome to an hour of silk sanctuary where you will be enveloped in your own protective and private cocoon and suspended in time. Enter into a world of vibration as a sequence of quartz crystal singing bowls are played creating a sound bath that will nourish your nervous system. After an hour don’t be surprised if you emerge as a butterfly from your cocoon with heightened sensation, relaxation and waves of peace.
Aerial Pilates and Fitness with Robin
Take your Pilates to new heights! Fine tune your balance, increase core strength, and flexibility all while holding, standing, sitting, or lying in a silk hammock suspended from above. Perform postural inversions without neck or spine compression. Enjoy better body awareness, agility and feel empowered as you experience a new dimension to your Pilates or fitness practice.
Aerial Yoga Gentle
We drop the silk 12 inches from the floor, ensuring smooth motion and gentle flow. Consider this a mixture of Yin (massaging your joints) and Restorative (relaxing tenseness in your muscles). A gratifying class that will leave you feeling refreshed as you melt away physical and mental tension in your body.
Aerial Yoga Intro
Curious about Aerial Yoga? This class is recommended for those unfamiliar with aerial silk. You will be introduced to three fundamental poses in Aerial Yoga - Torso Lift, Hip Hang and Back Straddle. We will practice the intro and outro of these fun introduction poses.
Chair Yoga with Amelia
A beautiful way of practicing yoga without leaving your seat. A gentle practice that will focus on breathing techniques, simple flowing stretches, flexibility and relaxation with the aid of a chair. We will utilize props to ensure stability (blocks at feet, blankets for cushion, the wall for support etc.)
Evening Yin, Breathwork & Meditation (90 min.)
End your day with a beautiful Yin yoga practice to calm your mind and nervous system. This slow paced style of yoga of gently stretching the the joints and connective tissues will be accompanied with the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls allowing waves of sound to soothe and carry you into an alternative realm of experience. A portion of class will be spent in breathwork and silent meditation.
Prenatal + Postpartum Yoga

Prenatal Yoga Class: 9:00am - 10:15am
A class designed with pregnant women in mind! Plenty of poses to alleviate common pregnancy discomforts, increase strength, and prepare you for childbirth (and motherhood). Also a wonderful way to connect with other expecting moms. All levels welcome, no previous yoga experience needed.
Postpartum 10:30am - 11:45am
This class is a perfect way for the new (or not so new) mama to carve out some time for self-care. We focus on reconnecting with the deep core and pelvic floor muscles, rebuilding allover body strength, and alleviating common aches/pains. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to join! Bonus: this is a wonderful way to meet other new moms. All levels and stages postpartum are welcome, no previous yoga experience needed.
As explained by one of my favorite teacher trainers, Bernie Clark, author of “The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga”: “Yin Yoga works the deeper levels of the body / heart / mind: the connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints and bones and the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and blood system. One big difference noticed by students of Yin Yoga is the long held, passive nature of the posture, which gives time for a deeper journey to unfold, a journey into the meditative aspects of yoga, a bridge to living life mindfully.”
Aerial 90 - Intermediate Level
Come and experience a new take on your regular Hot 90 class. As you journey through Aerial 90, you will reach for Half Moon, hang loose in Full Locust, gravitate in Garurasana (Eagle Pose), unwind in Camel and revisit your other favorite Hot 90 poses with the support of an aerial silk. Stretch further, balance with confidence, let gravity take your Hot 90 practice to a new level. This is a NON heated class.
Aerial Playground with Robin
Experience the hammock in an innovative, light-hearted and fun atmosphere! Exercises and postures incorporate strength, mobility, flexibility and the ability to confidently flow into inversions. Beginners encouraged to join and other leveled participants are cued to “play” and expand in their practice (with appropriate spotting from our certified instructors).
Aerial Strength, Conditioning & Flexibility with Summer
Aerial Strength, Conditioning & Flexibility is a fantastic way to improve your fitness and mobility for your Aerial Yoga practice as well as get stronger for everyday life.
Using the Hammock as well as our own body weight, we will do various exercises aimed at increasing strength in the shoulders, arms, core and lower body as well as build stamina. At the end of each class, you will work on mobility and flexibility which results in fewer injuries, less pain, improved posture, balance, and physical performance.

Aerial Yoga Level 1
Need a lift from your traditional yoga practice? Allow the support of the silk to help you inhale as you lengthen and exhale as you strengthen. Let gravity relax you into your traditional yoga poses and experience a flow of mindful sequences that will focus on certain parts of your body. Great for beginners and for those seeking a gentle, slower and more intentional posture experience.
Aerial Yoga Level II
Not for the beginner. This class will build upon the foundational poses and transitions at a quicker pace. Must have mastered hip hangs (without supplemental support), back straddles (without hesitation), possess upper arm strength, balance and control.
Aerial Yoga Mixed Levels
Expect a fusion of fun in this mixed levels class! You'll experience deeper inversions on the silk and a bit of flying. Time will fly so fast, you'll forget you're actually working out.
Amelia's "Air Heart" Yoga 4 Kids Class
Boarding all "Air Heart" kids. A fantastic practice for kids ages 7-12 years old. In this special class designed for the young explorer, we will begin with a half hour mat practice to master poses based on balance and coordination. We will then repeat the poses on the aerial silk to expand on body awareness and focus. The class will end with a resting pose in our calming cocoon. Limited to 7 kids per class. Parent or guardian fly free!
Friday Free Flow
Long week? We're offering this FREE class so you can flow at your own pace. YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FIFTEEN (15) AERIAL CLASSES TAKEN FROM MOJO YOGA UNDER YOUR BELT. No exceptions. This is not a beginners class. Hang out, stretch out, free flow and practice that new move you learned. This class will offer instruction upon request.
